Betsy’s Dance Center was founded in 1988. The studio has served many families in the Mon-Valley area for 34 years.

Our Mission…
To pass along the love and art of dance to our students while using developmentally appropriate teaching practices for children of all ages. We believe that it’s not only important to teach dance technique, but to build confidence that lasts a lifetime. We strive to provide quality dance education in a loving fun filled positive learning environment while using age appropriate choreography and costumes.

Benefits of Dance….
Dance is innate in children before they even learn to talk or follow verbal commands. Dance evokes emotions and is used to express our thoughts and feelings. We want to inspire our students to express themselves through movement. Giving them the tools to express feeling and emotions through movement is very therapeutic. Dance evokes the power to express emotions when spoken words cannot fulfill their feelings.
Our Weekly classes offer our students the ability to improve coordination, physical fitness, provide them with emotional benefits, learn teamwork and commitment, and help develop friendships that last a lifetime.

Continuing the Tradition…
We pride ourselves on the generation of dancers that have passed through our studio. Our dancers that bring their children to us do so because they know the impact the studio has made in and beyond the classroom.
